Ribby Hall Bridal Boutique

Hello!

Sorry I've been a bit quiet on the blogging front for the last couple of weeks - it's all been very hectic at Emma Draper Make-up HQ but now I've finally found a bit of time to tell you what I've been up to!

This post is all about a wedding event I attended at Ribby Hall ,which is not only a wonderful luxury holiday destination on Lancashire's Fylde Coast, but it's also a fabulous wedding venue to boot.  On this occasion I had the opportunity to exhibit at their first ever Bridal Boutique event.  It was a great day and I met some lovely brides and grooms-to-be!

For this event the idea was me for me to set out my "stall" with some examples of my work, and I was also doing some bridal make-up demo's on my lovely model Lisa. Here are a couple of pics of her make-up. For this first look I created a smokey eye, with soft pink tones on her cheeks and a rosy pink lipgloss.

For another look I went a little heavier on the smokey eye and complimented this with soft peach/coral tones on the cheeks and lips. I even put a few individual false lashes on her for extra eye definition!

The Bridal Boutique showcased some other fabulous wedding suppliers including the outstanding Flower Design who truly are the finest wedding & event flower specialists I've ever come across. Flower Design displayed wonderful floral arrangements throughout the venue and provided some beautiful high fashion bouquets for the bridal fashion show.

Dreamcatcher Bridal Wear were exhibiting some amazing bridal gowns by the likes of Kate Sherford and Suzanne Neville, not only on their stand but also in a fabulous catwalk show! I bought my wedding dress from Dreamcatcher so it will always have a special place in my heart and Gill and Georgina are just lovely too!

Another fantastic supplier who caught my eye were Xtreme Entertainment (I couldn't help but notice them as 2 of them were on stilts for most of the day!) and they do all sorts of wonderful things to entertain your guests as magicians, fire performers and of course stilt walkers! Lovely guys too - here they are dancing too!

So, all in all, a successful day out - I always find bridal events great fun and it's so nice to meet other suppliers and of course my future brides!

More wedding event fun to be blogged soon!

Love
Emma
